I wish someone could tell me how to do that! I'm building a NA version of this motor and there isn't enough dome and head milling to get that under any condition.

If you follow the Specs and do the math, it comes up at 13.98. Not sure where the max compression of 15.52 comes from. I'm with you, I don't expect you will get 15:1 with around stock bore and stroke. To get there would require a TDC volume of around 40cc. Tough to do with a deck clearance that seems more workable than the Spec of .023. |

No, this is a motor for SS/Modified. Pretty much all of the dome and smallest combustion chamber and still getting enough valve relief gets you in the 15:1 range. I currently run the 2.3 Ford single cam engine but am in the process of building a Duratec motor which is an Ecoboost without the turbo.

If you're able to run it, it would be a natural J/S car at 12.78 pounds per factored horsepower. You could add or subtract weight to run one class up or down (K/S or I/S). If the one you have is a Performance Package car, they have larger/heavier front brakes than the non Performance Package car. Have you driven it? Last edited by 6130; 06-26-2018 at 10:51 PM. |

I want to see Ecoboost Mustangs heads-up racing Ecotec Camaros. Stick only and we could call it Jr Factory Stock. It would sound like a swarm of mad bumblebees
