Gary, you may want to check your facts. The last two years, the quota's where not reach. In fact, there are more cars entered now in Super Stock than the last two seasons. Stock entries have more cars than 2 years ago, and will easily pass last years with 4 weeks to go and if you include FSS, Stock is over 180. With a 180 quota, many wait to the last minute to register, I though that was pretty well known. |

And I was sitting here thinking the opposite...how great is is that Super Stock and Stock are both (almost) full with nearly three weeks to go before kick-off. Assuming 25-30 or so Factory Stockers, we're looking at almost 400 class cars at Indy.
Now can we just get a couple of sunny 72-75 degree days for class eliminations? |

He may be incorrect on the numbers but I don't see any Political statements in that post. But with that said I remember not long ago barely getting into Indy with 4 grading points. The sad fact is the economy sucks all over the planet. Less disposable money means less racing. After Entering Indy my Bank account has a Negative number in it.
