I sent this to Gary Raash at NHRA last week. You got any pull? Pull!

Gary, thanks for your help keeping the AH Shootout alive. Looks like it has been well received as today at grade one we near thirty (30) entries. Perhaps NHRA could run our cars together for Wednesday and Thursday qualifiers at the back of SS. It would be a little extra work on the announcers and lane attendants but I think you would see an increased fan turnout. Especially if you did a small press release. Just a thought, thanks again and hope to meet you at Indy in a few weeks. Stephen Hebert SS/AH 403H

Where's the like button for this? If they can pull this off, I'll make sure to get up there rapido when they call super stock so after I'm done with my run I can watch the show. What could be better?

Eric

I love the idea of letting all the Hemi cars qualify as a group.

I was wondering if all the Hemi cars could pit together since it is the 50 year anniversary of the Dart / Barracuda Hemi cars. Since there are 32 entered that would be a very cool grouping.

This idea might make it easier for calling them to the lanes together.

Just my 2 cents.

Most of the AH cars have always pitted together for the Hemi Challenge at Indy. Sounds like they will this year too.

Thank you NHRA for the track prep and running us together. I think that worked well especially with Herb helping on the announcing. Thank you Dodge for the sponsorship and Frito with his laundry list of sponsors. Perhaps he could post those names and we could reach out with a THANK YOU to them as well. Stephen
