George, thanks so much for the video. Super Stock is done with Q1, Stock has been called to the lanes for Q2, Super Gas is running now. The weather has gone from slow to slower. Any Super Stocker that ran good in Q1 has a stout piece. The DA was around 4000ft when Super Stock ran.
Some Super Stock action Q1. How about Bucky Hess and his Hemi Barracuda. |

7:30 a.m. Walking the dog at home (2 miles from the track) and I can hear the rumble of Stockers filling the lanes.
7:57 a.m. First pair on the starting line (got to love on-time starts) Weather is quite a bit better than yesterday although there is still a bit of a head-wind. A few early runs: Todd Hoven goes 9.82 that should be enough to get the big Hemi into the show (88-under) England's Nic Williams spun the tires and slowed to a 10.07. Last I checked he was outside the quick 128. Gary Summers 13.00 in U/S that's -.164. Early contender for wheelstand of the day? Francois Periard's big B/SA Road Runner or maybe even Ken Miele's Cobra Jet. Also, probably 100 or so folks in the stands enjoying the cool morning air. They're getting a great show so far. If you don't enjoy days like this, you're in the wrong sport. More later... |

I'm still learning and am just a fan. But I was under the assumption an automatic could have no more than a 3 speed and a manual (like the one is this video) could have no more than a 4 speed.
Am I seeing things or does this mustang have a 5 speed? |

Looks like the AHFS system has been working as designed all these years to bring the HP rating inline. What a joke.
