I used to race my 91 Mustang in Stock but started the conversion to SS/AS in 2007. Back then I modified the stock cross member for pan clearance and a Pinto style steering rack and re-used the stock A-arms. So, what am I allowed to use for a front cross member and control arms in SS/AS in 2018-19?

Unless you build a FWD car, nothing has changed is you have a RWD car. I spent lots of time sending letters to NHRA to allow the replacement of the K member with a tubular type and retain the OEM lower control arms and it was rejected.
This is the reason why I ended turning my RWD car into a Comp Super Modified car.
