There was one lone J/SA car but I never heard what they did about it. He did not make a pass during class eliminations.

Just opened my favorite national dragster of the year
the indy sportsman issue. Great photo of the Jerry and

Larry show semi final heads up thriller. I sure miss the national
dragsters with more complete coverage including driver
interviews. Glad they still provide class winner photo's.
And congrats to all stock and super stock class winners
at Indy. Well done. Not easy to get one of those Wally's
these days.

Thanks again for all the people who posted photos and commentary from the BIG GO. The pictures were some of the best I have ever seen. It was almost like being there.

It shows Bob Utsler in a 74 Ventura as the only car in J/SA.If he didn't show up for the Combo, I guess he forfeited the Combo trophy as he doesn't show up in the Class winners list.

Bill was the line FS combo. They would run stick and. Auto together. To think Bill would race an automatic would be nothing short of Blasphemy! LOL
