As far as changing the location back to Columbus , It may not have the charm and amenities of Bowling Green , it looks to be a more central location for both Northeast and Central Division racers.
Tom, I know you are old enough to remember that the SPORTS originated at Bowling Green on Memorial Day weekend.....for YEARS.....

Yes ,I sure remember it . ...Went many times.
my thoughts are based on the idea that the Jegs Sportsnational races are somewhat of a Regional event, and one that any Class or Sportsman racer looked forward to running , and the move of the race several years ago excluded a large group of racers.

You see I am kind of a HISTORY buff and the move to Columbus will exclude a large group of D 2 and D 4 racers.....

The race moved to Columbus because of JEGS. No problem with that. To say that this is a better location due to travel distances is a bit short-sighted for the D4, D5, D6 and D7 racers. The best thing was when there were (3) Sportsnationals located around the country.

Too cool.
Save that ticket, bud. Probably never be worth much but that ticket # makes that thing pretty neat.

I'd be embarrassed to post how much I paid a few years back for an opening day ticket to the Astrodome.('65)
