Tow route suggestions? It looks like either 95 straight down, or 81 to 95 which is a bit longer.

I'm looking to show the new owner the ropes during their open test and tune. His first drag vehicle, so I am hoping they might prep the track, but figured I'd ask here and see if any locals have experience.

I do see they run a major NMCA event at the track, so I'm hopeful.

I'll be doing the same thing I did with my kids, giving him a detailed written manual, in the truck walkthrough, demonstrate, reinforce the burnout method so he doesn't break it in the box, staging, partial throttle run, etc.

What to do if it spins(ah lift!, etc.)

Who knows, might plant the seed for a Stock/Superstock racer!

Made that trip MANY times also - Chuck's 81-77-26-95 route I second, yes, it's longer and has more hills, but if your tow rig can handle it, it's way more peaceful of a ride.

You may want to consider from Mass 84 west all the way to 81 south. You will miss all the big cities on east coast.

Also another option in delaware and maryland supposedly opening soon is just below wilmington DE off 95 is rte 1 south to new 301 highway to annapolis md. You can then stay on 301 to richmond or pick up 95 around DC.

when you hit Fredericksburg, va, get off the interstate onto route 17. it's a nice break from the interstate.

Not a fan of 81 this time of year hit snow in the mountains twice, this time of year I used 301-95 not a bad ride.
