1958 to 1964 were the X bodies. 1965 to 1976 got the larger H-Body 1977 to 1996 GM stayed with the 1964 GTO/Chevelle chassis design. Malibu's became Impala/Caprice//Bonneville/Roadmaster/Caddy/Olds The Wagons had the Boxed Frames. Police Packages got the all the Chassis attach points bolted. |

Don`t recall what it had to weigh in at, but 15-20 years ago, Jeff Davidson raced a early 70s Olsmobile Vista Cruiser station wagon here in Div.6, in SS/MA. To run that low of a class designation with a 455 cube engine , she had to be rather porky!

One car that I owned that wasn't the heavyweight that I thought it would be was a 1968 Plymouth Fury III 2dr Fast Top with the 440/350. Turns out it would only be 3670# w/driver in E/SA.
