He ran the white convertible during the mid 70’s in L/stick, then transitioned to the silver hardtop he ran in J & K stick later which was the “Endless Flight” he won the World Championship with in’84.

Thanks for the correction Mark, the black vinyl top flawed my memory. Man he could drive that thing with amazing consistency.
I still can't believe we lost Dave and Alan within days of each other. For a small state Connecticut has had some great drag racers and also NASCAR Modified drivers as well. |

Actually, it was an earlier incarnation of the same car that had Endless Flight on the front fender. (Peters and Hozan) There's a new pic on the CT Dragway F/B page, of Alan and Dave racing each other. Sad times, for sure . And for those who think they might race again, better get with it.
