I'll see if I can make a profit in Tucson this weekend. Obviously I go for the fun of it since the last divisional I won was in 1992. My 1985 open trailer could use a few good payouts.

D4 payouts posted at http://www.nhradiv4.com/2014/PurseEntryFees.pdf are similar to the D2 purse posted earlier. They haven’t changed in a while. The good news in D4 is that sponsors have stepped up to increase the winner and runner up totals by $500 & $250 at the 2019 D4 races. Thanks to School of Automotive Machinists (SAMTECH) for sponsoring Stock and Stanfield Racing Engines for sponsoring Super Stock. The bad news in D4 is that we may need to invest in air boats to get a race in any time soon.

What’s the typical entry fee for an nhra divisional for a 1000-1500 payout?

Div. 2 has been $160 and if I remember correctly, Div. 1 might be $170.
Of course, contingency is part of the overall payout
