Good morning all, start time maybe moved up to 11am, but there are still rigs coming in. The place is packed with sportsman racers, the back top is almost full. Some say that NHRA dragracing is dying, you would never no it by the amount of rigs that are here.

The weather conditions are very good and will stay this way for today's qualifying. Here are the numbers.....

Temp 60
Humid 32%
Bar 30.20
DA 81
Wind, light.

Be back later.

It is pitiful that a race track, any track on the schedule, is not prepared when a race starts. They know the schedule several months in advance. There should have been equipment testing yesterday or days before. Rain an excuse?

Sh.. happens brother. Frank Hawley has been running his last classes there after running at Bradenton while they were grinding the new track surface. So yes, I’d say they had confidence all systems were go but Murphy is alive and well everywhere.

It should be easy enough. We would run drag tractor down and test all increments while dragging track. Tower would send a test print first then tractor ET next with increments. Sometimes not all the increments would work due to the ground squirrels liked our wiring. Poured gas down the holes and lit them up. Stopped the problem for awhile.
