Well its Tuesday and about 100 plus rigs that did not want to race the national or could not get in are gone. It like ghost town, lots of rigs here but very few people. Most found places to go, I'm still at the track and working on the race car, never seem to have time between reports and racing.

I forgot about the short video I made, so that's posted below. No detailed schedule posted yet. I'm sure there will be some out today working on there cars and I will gets some photos and post later.

Good video, and congrats to Tyler Caheely in his truck for another big win. In the video you can see his Dad, Eddie who has many wins and a IHRA World Championship in Super Rod. Father/son/family racing is a great tradition in our sport and one which will hopefully keep it healthy for many years to come. Thanks Ken for all your reporting and pics.

Hey everyone, another pretty much do nothing day. Tech cards are just dropped and check for proper weight and class by Travis Miller, nice to see him at the races again.

Most of the rigs that came in today were the Factory Stock Showdown cars. I will cruise by and gets some photos, I am sure those teams will be working hard after their race at Bradenton.

100 plus racers in one place turned away. What a waste, Did local track promoters not see this coming ? Bradenton ? Orlando ?---- Hey guys stop by here on your way home for a one day gamblers race .Put 200.00 in the pot and race for 20,000 dollars. We would love to have you . You'll be the show and get two time runs --- Oh well what do I know I'm just a dumb redneck from Frog Level Virginia. BUT I am smart enough to bend down and pick up --money on the ground -- .I think Barry Parker is on to something with his memorial race to Dave and Alan.

I know another promoter and myself spoke about this last week with the lower car counts and the run schedule of 2 time runs Thursday and 1st round Thursday Night. You wonder if this is the wave of the future that all races (3 or 4 day) has first round for sportsman on the first day. Get them in and out 1/2 out the door by Friday. I really think Little Associations and big time sportsman races might be the wave soon. Maybe Myself, Lee Zane, Brian Van poppel, Mike Beard and others shot our bullets too soon and should have waited a few years.
