I decided to go with PRW, never heard of them and it looks like they are made overseas but the price is right, looks like they have more meat near the roller so hopefully they don't crack like the Comps did. Just hoping they last until my next refresh when I can legally go to the stud rockers.

On the HP increase, and not sure how the ford rockers look, but on a small block Mopar, Comp claimed 20-30 HP increase using their roller tip steel shaft rockers over the stock stamped ones.?

Have an LT1 with SA Stock Rockers on 7/16 stud.
They do not need push rod guides. Is there any performance advantage going to a Roller Tip or full Roller Rocker? I have a set of 1.6 GM SA Roller Rockers. Can the Cam be ground and use the 1.6 GM RR’s if it meets Lift Requirements? |

Unless your combo came with 1.6 they are not legal. Whenever someone asks for a performance gain report on one part, the answer would be no. The entire combo needs to be considered. Especially cam and springs lifters pushrods etc. when you are talking legal stocker parts, it all has to work together.

PRW's are pretty good. We sold a few sets of the stainless units and had them NHRA approved. I actually have a 1.5 ratio set for some dumb reason. Must have been spare shelf parts......... like the Sherman lifters..........
Our shelf did ban them to a specific corner............ |
