I personally really like the battery powered Flaming River light. Great for race cars where power is sometimes hard to connect to:

I could use one as well as I do not have a good place to get power from. The reviews don't look good.

I bought the Flaming river battery powered one it's definitely not bright enough in the day light went back to my trusty craftsman 2134

I have an old Sears/Penske 244-2138 and it works fine with my MSD 6AL ignition boxes.
