Wix 51061 =
Napa 1061 Every wix filter uses the same number as Napa but drops the first number. The first number in Wix filters denotes what it is for. 3 series = fuel 4 series = air 5 series = oil We buy thousands of filters a year and use Wix in our generator service business. From the biggest to the smallest machines. When we are out and need one we just get one from Napa I’ve been using the Wix racing filters for years. The only feature that would be good on some applications is the nut on the bottom that K&N and Moroso features. My oil pan makes it a struggle to get a strap wrench on a std round filter. I modified a strap wrench....

I have a NAPA Oil Filter socket. Grips the "notches" around the end of the filters.
Has a square hole for a 3/8" drive Rachet or extension, takes them right off.

FilterMAG is the brand name of a line of oil filter magnets sold at the mail orders and other places. Magnets are very strong and they work well. Probably a good idea especially if you are using a larger micron rated filter.
No love for the System 1 type filters or the Clear View see through mounts? |

Taking them apart for inspection & cleaning was easier & more convient than cutting a filter apart. Did not filter as well.
