I find the story interesting to the extent that I believe there is a whole lot more to it that isn't being told.
As far as Dixon being "blacklisted", well a suspension from the NHRA is just that, a suspension. There are a whole lot of other tracks in the country he could set his show up at that aren't NHRA tracks. |

But wait, NHRA is a non-profit business so the only winners will be the lawyers!

What does this have to do with stock or super stock? File this under who gives a sh**. Everybody thinks that they are going to get their "way" in court. Last time I looked, for every attorney that is right, there is one that is wrong. NHRA makes the rules, it is their ballgame. Dixon should start his own ballgame.

Nevertheless, as I recall, some years ago it did not go that well for NHRA with the Pro Stock Truck guys. |

Dixon is just another guy who can't get his way. Why doesn't someone put a backseat in a ss/bm for NHRA approval. They could take gramps and gramma and the family pooch for the wildest ride of their lives. Is this drag racing or a carnival? This has nothing to do with dues or an association. If you choose to race in NHRA they are the sanctioning body and they do make the rules. You can ask them to change the rules. Usually "no" means "no" where I come from. I know, a lot of people don't like rules or the word "no". They like Dixon can then sue to try and get their way. What a society we have become. Try this one, I don't like the rules so I'm going to take my bat and glove and go home. Who cares? Last time I looked, the Little League was still in business. I stand by my statement, this has absolutely nothing, in fact less than nothing to do with stock or super stock or class racing at any level.
