Check out the Holley/Hooker LS swap parts online.
Where are you located? I am doing an LS swap on an 82 Camaro this summer
and have all those Holley/Hooker parts in Muskegon, Michigan.

What do you have for a 12 bolt rear end? Contact me by text or phone 231-740-5534
for more information. Fred Lee

The only weird thing about that engine is the small bellhousing that block has , to fit the fwd transmission . We used to test that powertrain at Hydramatic .

You can use a regular truck 5.3 block either iron or aluminum. Had that discussion with Bob Blackwell a few years ago.
