He was torn down for the All Stars... look at the et’s ran that weekend vs every other race he’s been to since the beginning of 2018, -.10 under that weekend vs -70 to -80 under every other weekend including a 10.72 in D/SA during Q1 at Joliet this weekend.

I agree, thought not tearing down when protested was not even an option.
Knew All-stars reps were down but wasn’t sure on what car. Ought to be a fun Monday-Tuesday in Glendora!😜🤪😳

NHRA and the competitor being protested came to an agreement at the event which was a refusal of tear down at Joliet and being disqualified for the event and losing points. They agreed that the competitor has to come to the next event with one head off for inspection.

I would be very surprised if Travis would go for that if he was there. I would also be very surprised if the people who protested him would agree to that. It’s my understanding if you don’t tear down you’re out for a year and then have to show up with the head off.

Greg, Travis was not there. And you are right, we wanted to see that engine torn down not their "other" engine. Plain and simple he should have a suspension, 6 months or a year that doesn't matter. If a suspension is given then the matter will be closed. But if no suspension, then why have any rules at all.

Is the car going to run a tenth under like the all-stars for that race then speed back up to .70 under for the next?

Mr Brand you are correct.
There was a large group of racer's and engine builders in div 3 and div 5 that have been questioning this car’s performance for some time now. After it’s less then Steller showing at the AllStar race were he knew he had to be torn down, he only manage to run -.20 under his index and 5-6 MPH less than he had been going the past two seasons. But by some miracle after the Allstar race he was right back to 10.70’s at 122-123 MPH with 1.48-1.49 sixty foots times for a D/SA car.
Mopar 340 (Ryan) you’re not fooling anyone
Your right you tried to pull that B.S. with the new division director. Your B.S. excuse last weekend about not having tools to tear down your own car was pathetic and a slap in the face to all those that follow the rules.
I believe the 20 or so people that have called and emailed NHRA Tech in the past two days will put a stop those shenanigans. Have fun waiting for your NHRA letter with your suspension. Which you earned by the way. The real looser in this deal is young racer Austin Alvey who raced his butt off last year spending hard earned money and time traveling only to have his chance to race the jeg’s allstars taken away by someone who has no respect for himself or the class. You are a disgrace to the class and those who play by the rules.
And yes Ryan before you can race Stock eliminator again you will haft to come with a cylinder head off and a rod and piston out because that’s is what the group of us protested you for. you can bring your 11.40 jegs Allstar motor for that tare down you know that will pass tech.
It will just be next summer not BG.

Refusal to teardown should be an automatic year off, no if, and or but about it. Show up to the next race with a head off....you gotta be kidding me!
