Hey Bill, hope you and Clark are enjoying the races in your “back yard”. That kind of mass teardown is very unusual outside of Indy. Suspect the recent controversy,DQ’s and suspensions play a role, especially when you have a racer recently and who has done well in the points previously only to find out he was probably doing it with a bogus motor and probably winning several heads up races in the process. Also the D6 fiasco when you have someone go on to collect runner up points and be in contention for a top ten finish. Kudos to NHRA for sending a clear message, just sorry some good racers have to go through teardown to make the point that the integrity of class racing has to be preserved.
