Please everyone, make the best of the situation. Visit with friends, and give help to someone that needs it setting up.

The weather is what it is and can't be changed. I know it isn't fun, but it could be much worse.

Be thankful that you are there and enjoy the event as much as possible.

Think of the racers that we have lost this past year and those in poor health and can't be there. How would they handle this weather problem?? Thank you for your time.

THIS!!!!

A bad day at the races is better then a good day in the ICU, nursing home, etc.

Chin up guys. You are literally living the dream of so many racers right now. Enjoy it. These moments don't last forever.

I just hope to one day even own my own drag car, let alone race in something as difficult and challenging as Stock/SS, let alone at THE BIG GO.

Soak it up. It very well could be your last, whether you choose it or not.

Just think if NHRA had no limit of entries in s/as. The mess of another 100 cars trying to park and race in time. Looks like limiting isn't such a bad idea.

No they (NHRA) didn't do their best. They could have and should have added additional parking staff when they were faced with the weather issue. Adding additional parking staff would of resulted in quicker parking for everyone. I'm sure everyone and me included would like to have a business where the customer pays in advance for 3 items. Let's say for the sake of illustration we'll use time runs/qualifying as an example. Then because I can't get the customer into my business, I just say screw you. You are only getting 2 of the items (time runs/qualifying) you paid for.

Additional parking staff for what? Parking 100,000 rigs on already saturated soil?
Other than complaining, that's your solution? Parking Staff tried to keep most of us in staging on asphalt, I appreciated that, JUST my opinion. Tony Tosto #5302

Thank you for the photos and reports. Scott Gove's Camaro is breathtaking. It is probably my favorite Stocker.

YO, Ken,

Looks like the "barn" had a door open. Can you get a pic of the 5 cherry pickers and engine stands? I need to know what to bring with me Friday morning!

Tony, Is it your opinion that parking that many big rigs, all in one day ,was a good plan?
None of the rigs that were there Sunday, could have been parked on Monday?
