There were three oildowns during Q4 of Funny Car. It took an hour to get through all 20 of them. There were multiple oildowns yesterday, including a Nitro Harley. There were multiple oildowns on Friday, including a huge Top Alcohol Dragster blowup and Warren Johnson crashing his street Camaro during the gimmicky "Back to School" nonsense.
The rain obviously hasn't helped, but these oildowns wasted several good hours of racing. At least Luigi Farndon wasn't responsible for any of them! |

SUPER WOW........I can't believe nobody mentioned that there were 18 alternates (because of no-shows) got to run in SS today!..
Then they ran out of alternates and qualifiers #3, #4, and #5 got bye runs! That's crazy!

Did not see that. I saw the no shows on the results but didn't count them. Good for some folks being vigilant and patient. Hope it pays off for them.

I must say that this has been the most unusual Indy I have ever been a part of. I am entered in Norwalk. This will prove to be a very hectic week.

What happened to Ron Seibenick?
He qualified #11 and the round 1 ladder showed him running Logan Galbraith.

Stock followed by SS again first thing in the morning!
Please NHRA don’t yell at those who are still in in both! Like you did this morning.
