904 and 727 use the same filter. Pan gasket is different

Some use a bottom opening filter which I think is adapted from a 518 .

Do your filter and your trans a favor and put a couple of magnets in the pan. If it's an aluminum pan JB weld them in.

Thanks for all the help. It ended up being a filter from a 518. Great advice on the magnets too. I will definitely epoxy a couple to the bottom of the pan.
