Thanks guys. Doubled checked linkage and increased pressure to 120psi and it works in the yard on a low rpm chip.

I don't know what kind of controller you have, but first make sure the duration of the shift isn't overwhelming. The pressure has to shove, then relax so the pin can fall and let the shifter get ready for the next shift. Sounds like its bound up to me, not letting it relax.

I agree. I fought this for awhile. Adjust in second. Put air up to 120. Prior when it was at 80 psi one night it was really, really cold and the pressure went down and would not shift. Now zero trouble and with only 500 psi in bottle and still going.

My controller requires setting it to "pulse". If you do not it makes the 1-2 shift but not the 2-3 pretty much what you described.

I adjusted in low gear, but will go back and adjust in 2nd. I failed to mention, but it's a front exit cable and has to make 2-90's bends to attach to trans. There is a small amount of slack in cable. Was told it was due to bends. Anyone else encountered this and if so, how to best minimize the slack. It's roughly 1/8" -3/16".

I always adjust my shifter in neutral, then I move the shifter one selection at a time and the trans arm to suit. That way I can see any misalignment or binding as far as it not smoothly sliding through the hole in the linkage. Do check that all of the shifter hardware has not come loose, has been a problem.
