Keep plugging away Jeff. I remember sitting in the water box behind you at speedworld on many occasions waiting to get an awesome view of your hood on that bumper dragging Monte Carlo! I've got faith in you!

I've had a lot of trouble with oil leaks from valve cover gaskets. I finally got cast aluminum valve covers and I use rubber gaskets with the steel insert, and I tighten them down a lot. That solved it for me.

It was great to see you out there. I love station wagons and yours looks awesome!

Jeff,

Hoping you can get the small leakies fixed and come get some more runs on the car on the 20th at WHP! Sounds like you're making great progress after only one outting

Jeff,
Seize the challenge one step at a time. The leaks are basic, find the baseline with jetting, timing and valve lash and work to refine, it will reward you.

Keep after it. You may want to invest going to a dyno to get jeting and pesky leaks addressed. I think it's cheaper than trying to get it sorted out at the track. An oil leak on the dyno won't crash your car. Be careful dyno's are very addictive!

It could have been much worse....
I know a guy that crashed his stocker first pass at Winters
AND
destroyed the Christmas Tree and all the related wiring!
