I raised my entry fees for my series $5.00 last year and it was basically to make it an even number ($75 to 80) and I turned around and added most of that cash to the payout and for some people you thought I was holding their children captive, NHRA raises it when they are already making money on each class and a track rental and everyone is like “praise them”. Who would be dumb enough to praise nhra for giving up more money overall, when that appears to be untrue. I guess racers won't be showing up looking for their free entries and Wally's now. Shucky darn.
