I would look into getting the snout on the converter changed before I would have the crank machined. Especially that it is a rare and valuable piece

Never thought of that.

However that would then make the converter somewhat of an unicorn.

I guess the crank could always be bushed back to the Chevy specs if someone wanted to go to more of a GM setup.
