No, nothing to do with any potential legal issues they may have to deal with in the future.

COVID-19 is on the agenda of every organization on the planet that organizes large events. Many will be forced to cancel events. How does nhra plan to deal with it? Remember racers are buying into events 8 -10 weeks in advance.

Excellent point Bruce, I was thinking the same thing as I was watching the evening news last night.

Are you guys serious! 76.000 U.S. citizens die each year from “the Flu”! Use your brain and stop spreading misinformation is the news job not common sense people like drag racer. If you took care of your health, eat well, exercise regularly, take your vitamins and get a flu shot at the beginning of flue season and keep chickens out of your house, you will have a 98.9% nance of surviving most viral infection. This will past, it’s not even close to a pandemic state by a 1000%!

We are very serious. I doubt any rational person would like to be anywhere near someone with this virus. Will large events be cancelled this year because of this virus? Who knows. But I will not be surprised if they are, and that includes nhra.

Here in Seattle I can tell you, people are taking it seriously. Being over 70 myself, I'm thinking of loading up the Stocker and leave for Vegas weeks earlier than normal to get out of town. There's got to be a couple of tracks to test at before Vegas.

Pacific Raceways in Kent, Wa. is NOT running the T N T this weekend. Only the chassis cert is being held with very low count for that I am sure. Also, the T N T scheduled for the 21st is on hold now pending further info. Check their website for more info.

I think this will all pass, but for now wash often, avoid large crowds and Pray for a quick end to all this.

That is exactly correct -

This is a Chinese attack on our economy and the media is falling for it.

IMHO (In My Humble Opinion)

Covid -19 is not the Common Flu..

The Flu’s can be dealt with because we know how it behaves and mutates.
Nobody has any information how to control Covid-19.
It gets in your lungs and you do not deal with it quickly.
It can quickly reach 50% Pulmonary Fibrosis and then you are in trouble.

A key observation, some people can carry it without any affect.
But another person exposed to that carrier can get sick.

To give you a sense of scale...of Epidemic
After WW1 our soldiers came home.
They brought back a bad strain of the Flu (N1H1)
It became the 1918 Influenza Epidemic
Deadly for people between 20-40 years old.
One third of the entire world was infected.
Millions died..way more than all the military losses in WW1.

Pay attention...I put out a bulletin to all our employees.
Got recommendation from friends in medical industry in California.
One simple thing to do is sip water often.
This reduces exposure from breathing and collected in the mouth.
Swallowing washes any infection to the stomach.
The acid in the stomach kills the Virii.

Be more diligent keeping hands and face clean.
We cleaned of all our computers and office equipment.
Keeping extra bottle of Windex and towels and hand wipes.
