The thing that fascinates me is the number of non racers/no namers who barge into our discussions. Not talking about you Tom P.

We might not agree on politics, but if you're racing down here and need anything I can provide. Hit me up. Same for you Dan.

Small and large events are being postponed/rescheduled or cancelled all together all over the country. It appears nhra will not have the authority to have the final word as to whether it should cancel events. Looks like the governors of the states nhra plans to promote events will be making those decisions for it.

Some of us "no namers" simply like to watch from the sidelines, eating our popcorn and watching the drama unfold by the real professionals. Extra butter please!

That's probably the best for you. There are folks out here plowing through some of these threads with absolutely no skin in the game, which may cause some confusion for visitors to this site. Take Tom Broome for example, Drag Race Central has never heard of the guy, and yet here he is just swinging away on this thread. It would be a good idea for folks to identify themselves as non nhra National and Divisional racers, even if they do not have the courage to use their real names.

I didn't know that you....or Drag Race Central were the final arbiter of the qualifications required to post on this Forum. I use my real name here. If you don't know me, that's my loss. Yes MY loss.
I apologize that I'm apparently disqualified as a racer because I don't have a current permanent number or any listing in the "interwebs".
I apologize to anyone I have assisted, at the track(s) or in the shop(s) around the country that since I'm not recognized as an "active driver". I'm automatically disqualified from being considered a "racer" regardless of any input I provide 'behind the scenes'.
I don't intend to be shamed off this forum by any one individual. If you want me gone.....That's what moderators are for.

Thank you. Your response proves my point. I have no interest in seeing you removed but I think it's important to know that you are involved in a discussion that impacts racers and not you. How hard is that for you to understand?

Apparently I'm not the only one with comprehension issues.
I'm a racer, what happens at NHRA races affects me also. I just fail to meet your misguided, obdurate, definition of "racer".

Thanks Tom. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I had no idea that you were such sensitive fellow. But now we can continue with the thread knowing most of the contributors. That helps.
