The numbers between the "flu" and COVID-19 are deceptive so here are some stats for comparing Influenza and COVID-19.

The scary part is there could be a lot more infected people than what has been reported and they can be moving around the country infecting scores of others.
My nephew was an employee on the Diamond Princess cruise ship and was tested along with all the other employees even the ones with no symptoms. He tested positive and was placed in isolation in a hospital in Japan. During his stay they tested him about 4 or 5 times (he needed two consecutive negatives to be released) After 19 days he was finally cleared and was able to leave the country. He never experienced any flu like symptoms the whole time and if he wasn't tested he would never had known he was carrying the virus. He could have taken it home to family and friends and caused a local outbreak. |
