Maybe we should just all Coward down in our basements until the economy is destroyed and the dollar is worthless, if all the brave men and women that fought in world war II did that we would be speaking german, these men signed up knowing there was a good chance they may not make it home. The workers out there keeping the lights on are heros, I work in oil patch and I am still working if I get it chances are I wilk be ok and I am willing to take that chance. We need herd immunity, that's only way to beat this. |

I believe on Friday April 3rd surgeon general Jerome Adams said last week would be " this generations pearl harbor moment" . God bless the greartest generation. I was not around for pearl harbor but hard to imagine. Thankfully it did not seem nearly as horrific as that was. In Denver we have been preparing and quarantining somewhat for almost a month with most of the control on businesses forced to close. Our governer not nearly as heavy handed as some it seems. Oklahoma has almost no restrictions from what I understand. In Colorado liquor stores, pot shops, grocery stores, most parks still open. At this moment blessed to have under 300 deaths in the state. Expected much worse now. What it very hard to estimate is the economic destruction to businesses, families, , lives from that will also be fatalties.? Really tough debate..

There is a beutiful small ski town very expensive called Telluride and they imposed a 14 day quatantine to all residences not to leave there house for anything.. Town has 7 confirmed cases. No traffic in or out of town. A county called clear creek, I-70 runs right through it. Cool town Idaho springs in the middle of it. They have a few cases. Going to or did close county roads to visitors. Can't stop I-70 obviously. We were in a small gambling town 2 weekends ago. Blackhawk/ Central City. All casinos closed. Like a ghost town. Stopped and picked up a couple items at an open convenience store. Town cop really gave us the stink eye. Sure he knew we were out of towners.
