Since SS spring rates are different from one side to the other, I can't imagine what kind of a nightmare it would be to dial in the CalTracs and shocks.

just as a tag along . Would this also apply to mopar XHD springs , they have an extra leaf on right side .
I have been running caltracs like this for a few years , but with my big motor could this creat issues . I know my sixties are kind of slow , 1.42 best mostly 1.44 , car has run best of 10.28 mostly low/mid 10.30s Tex |

You can find folks that run the Calvert bars with the SS springs successfully but the easier path and the one with the higher probability of success would be to run the Calvert springs with the Calvert bars. At least in my opinion.

Ease the pain. weigh the rear of the vehicle as used, call Calvert , give them all the info they require, don't guess, the better the info you give the better the results. take your time , installing the new parts, check pinion angle , set shocks (Find it's happy spot) and have fun.
Great product , great company , great people to deal with. |
