Frank, Don't forget Bill Tanner. I have all 4 books. Plus I think there was one from Canada.

Stewart,
I thought I might be forgetting other racers and John Petrie from Canada was one of them. Thanks.

A little history. Bill Tanner had his Clinic thru Lenox Dodge in Atlanta. He had a shop In Norcross Ga and did Engines for customers. A buddy and I went to him to have a Hemi done for a Super Stock Cuda convertible in 71. Bill said he would do the short block and Warren Barnett, who was still working at a Buick dealership, worked out of a corner of the shop and would do the heads and carbs. Between the time we struck a deal and he started on the engine he up and quit racing. Totally quit even though I think Terry Earwood had won the Div 2 SS championship. Warren decided to take the shop over so he ended up doing the engine and we decided to let him do the car too. Barnett Race Cars took off. Sometime during that time we helped Warren clean out a bunch of stuff Bill left and I remember throwing out cases of clinic books, post cards and other clinic stuff. Who knew we should have saved some of it. I kept a post card and a book. The rest was trashed. Warren stayed at the Norcross shop until after he bought BCI in downtown Atlanta in the late 80's and was there until 2016 when he moved to the current Decatur location. Sorry for the Hijack Bill but I thought the history was interesting.
