Always enjoyed it when they came to Utica Rome Dragway way back when. They were always tough competitors. I really enjoyed reconnecting with Charlene at this year's D1 banquet where she was inducted into the D1 Hall of Fame.

Gary built lots of Pontiacs. Said he built quite a few '68 Birds, & somebody would always wanna buy 'em before he could race 'em very long.

Besides at least 2 Tons-a-Fun wagons, he also raced a 2nd gen Bird & a '72 GTO.

Because of the wagons, they were among my earliest Pontiac heroes.
