Eddie, I also was a huge Grand Funk RR fan back when I was in Jr. High. My brother John had purchased a nice mahogany console radio and turntable from Montgomery Ward with his paper route money. This thing was huge, actually a good sized piece of furniture. It was in our living room and the rocking chair in front of it was my "lounge". I spent hours upon hours in front of that thing. Steppenwolf, Rare Earth,Three Dog Night, Grass Roots, Beach Boys, Sly and the Family Stone, Who,,,

Anybody know Lorraine ? LOL

We can thank Peter ,Paul, and Mary, The Byrds, and The Turtles from bringing a little known folk singer from Hibbing, Mn. into the American culture.

Best wishes to Howard Kaylan, who's had some health issues lately.
What a great voice.

Someone mentioned Steppenwolf...
Not sure what the deal is here, but John Kay is a Canadian and was born in Germany..Just might be a perspective from the outside.

A bit newer than most here ,and a bit different .
..And don't try to figure out Michael Stipe ...Just watch and listen with an open mind..I learned that years ago.

Any Pop / Rock song with a mandolin gets a spin here....

Not sure I'll get a like here...I think I know who it might be ;-)
