Driver B was at the scales and asked to weigh immediately after driver A failed to make weight.

A similar situation occurred recently at Topeka LODRS Race 1 in round 4 of Stock. In that instance Driver B broke out and Driver A took the win light. Driver A failed fuel check. Driver B was paged back to the tech area over the track PA system. Driver B was reinstated (I assume after successfully passing fuel and weight checks).

Once got beat at IHRA Div race in a headsup race went over to the scale to congratulate the driver, the scale guy said he was ten lbs lite. I scaled my car I was ok.
Then the tower said he was the winner because the scale was old. Was not happy. Tom
