Why not have it at Maple Grove along with just announced .90 Nationals?

Why not..... because we would be in the same boat as the national. We would be over the restriction for outdoor gatherings set by Pennsylvania.

Ok guys and Gals now that everyone knows this race is gone to happen. Start planning now, as Brian said earlier if you are entered for Maple Grove you should now support this race!!!!!! $5 grand to win for less entry than a points race sounds like a winner to me !! Steward Performance will be helping Kenny with product and $$$$$ You just can't turn your back on races like this.

A couple of questions for you-- Since some of us are planning to come there straight from Indy, how is the parking situation? It would be nice to be able to get there and park at the track and unload our little car and do some sight seeing since we haven't been to that part of the woods before! Is there anything to see or do around there? Will the leaves be colorful yet? What about good restaurants in the area? Any responses welcome!!

Thumbs up Re: Class Racer Nationals ?

Hi Larry & Patsy.
I don't know about parking, but there are interesting things to do and see just north on I-81 in Scranton, Pa. Maybe an hour north. There is the Steam Town national Park. Great place to view old restored and in process steam locomotives. There is also The Lackawanna Coal mine museum on the north slope and it will take you down into an old working coal mine. Larry you will need to bend over a lot, but way cool. They even turn off the lights so you can experience TOTAL DARKNESS. The old Lackawanna train station has been restored and converted into a Raddison Hotel. But you can go in and see the incredible lobby and view the frescoes on the walls. A nice restaurant inside also. I've been to all these places. I would make sure they are open 1st due to the pandemic.
Hope this helps.
God Bless and stay safe.

https://www.knoebels.com/?fbclid=IwA...9YdBp78XjQi1Ic You could spend a week here and not see everything, some good food too and less than 10 miles from the track., not much in colorful leaves until late Oct.

Hey Patsy,

I will be there to park, track opens Friday at 9am. Contact me personally if you plan to be a day early. Parking will be first come first serve. You guys are the stars and will be treated as such. I only ask you to use your discretion when saving spots and think about the other racers. If you are saving more than one spot for family or friends, I will try to work with you, but lets not get carried away. If you park way in the back then you can park all your friends together. Please try to do the right thing when parking.

If you have any question, see me at the track, I will work with everyone to make it a great experience. I know first hand how parking can be a frustrating affair.

We have about 7 to 8 sponsors racing, so there will be spots for them. Although the pits are on a slight grade, you have really good parking on 95% of the pits. Great views if you are next to the fence over looking the track.

Thanks
