I would like to thank all of the racers who participated in this past weekend's race at Numidia. It was a pleasure and an honor to work with the team that was basically put together in a month's time. The fact that this was put together in such a short period of time and the response was beyond all expectations. The staff from Numidia was fantastic and gave a great racing surface all weekend. Having Pete Biondo in the tower with the rest of the tower staff really kept things running smoothly. It truly was great to see and talk to several folks that I haven't seen in quite a while due to the Pandemic. Again, I want to give a big thanks to all that participated and congrats to all of the winners !!!

Dave,I thought the random first round worked well with no heads up until second round on. No 1000' foot runs in time trials, guys were hanging it out. Wonder if it should be done on divisional level. What's your thought or am I way off base.

Lee, We planned it that way due to the amount of time and effort it takes to pair a lot of cars first round. We patterned it after the National Open races and I have thought that way for years. As you well know, we've had races with well over 100 cars or even full fields and having worked the lanes for many of them, it's very hard and time consuming to pair.

Thanks to Dave for handling the tech duties, seeing Pete in the lanes with a clip board Saturday afternoon was pretty good, Congrats to Dylan Biondo on his win, sorry didn’t get out from under my car much until Saturday afternoon so I didn’t get to see a lot of the people that I wanted to. Still a much better time there than at any place called work. I think it’s time to quit “work” and get back to having fun at the race tracks up and down the coast.

Thanks for a great race. When I heard who was running the show, I knew it would be a "must attend" event. Not surprised everything went well. Thanks to all the racers and staff.
