If it matters to you

He is telling 62 million people to skip his store. Is that a good idea?

I saw on another site that this is fake news.He didn't really say that. According to Weathy Gorilla the owner of Camping World , Marcus Lemonis is worth $900 million. He could probably give Trump some business advice.LOl

here is exact quote marcus made after trumps comments about the charlottesville protest tragedy. Trump said that "you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides." So where is marcus calling out the politicians and news media standing in front of burning buildings detroyed property calling them peacefull protests

“There’s no doubt that there is probably not many consumers in this country today that are in favor of what has been said in the last couple days and if they are, quite frankly, don’t shop at my business,” said Lemonis, who is CEO of Camping World

you can listen to his exact conversation here. Make your own opinion, I have no problem with a company making political decisions, but do not be a hypocrit and not call out other politicians that are saying the same thing as trump

I'm sure everyone on this site is a NHRA Member that being said I'm glad NHRA was able to get a major sponsorship this quick. Put the politics aside and be happy for the sponsorship and also if you do go into a Camping World Store tell them Thank You for sponsoring NHRA because they could spend their money on a lot of other things. My Grandfather was very successful in the Lumber and Timber business in Arkansas and East Texas. He retired and dissolved all his business in 1969. I was 19 at the time. I had shadowed Papaw from the time I could walk around the mills and wood yards and cruise timber. He had an old buddy that hung out with him and was his best friend. He had been very successful in retail and retired early. He always had very interesting sayings about business. He had one saying that I heard back in the late 50's that preceded the Convenience Stores of today..
He said: Put your product out where people can see it, feel it & steal it, You will sell it. He would have fallen in love with Buckee's.
Just one of the many I learned and took into my own business was:
Don't mix Politics or Religion with your business.
Maybe times have changed or do they need to change back to what I learned from an old Jewish guy in the late 50's and 60's? Why alienate your customer base and potential customers?

Frankly, I have never been inside a Camping World store, nor have I ever drank more than 1 Mello Yello or Powerade beverage, as well as never smoked Winston Cigarettes (or any others). That said, I am grateful that all these companies invested in NHRA drag racing even if it was mostly a benefit to NHRA and the "Pro show". However, I have bought products that did support Sportsman drag racing , including Firestone & Centerline in the 80s, and both Jegs and Summit in more recent years. Even if the Camping World CEO comments, regardless of context or intent offends a person , that person would likely have no issues accepting Camping World money if they were win some.
