The issue that most trailers incur are the black streaks that run down the sides. This happen from dirt and fallout that lays on the roof and then is washed down on the sides of the trailer when it rains. You can minimize this by install a gutter system around the sides of the trailer. RV supply companies sell a simple self stick gutter that will do the job, or if you want to be creative you can purchase some aluminum channel and attach it to the side of the trailer. This will extend the life of the paint,
