John, thanks for all you do/have done for drag racing and us racers. The magazine was one of my favorites. I put it right up there with Super Stock and Drag Illustrated. We got our refund check (you didn't have to do that but thank you) and I looked for you at the Gators on Friday but after 15,776 steps I gave up, LOL! You may not remember but you helped me many years ago with a header repair at your shop and welding a throttle bracket at Orlando when my throttle stuck. You are always there to help.
I look forward to whatever you have for us next. |

Mr. DiBartolomeo,
I have to salute you for what you have brought to the sport. All those years with magazine like Drag Racing Action and Drag Racing Edge, all those photos with a lot of beautiful moments catch in action and/or your thinking on different subjects which help everybody upgrading their own point of view … Articles that missed so much is talking about: peoples, subject like you have done (A long time ago) about “The three Amigos”, technical details on their race cars, their life, their friend, their dreams or their shop. More technical subjects: Ex: different set-up to in comp: Engine, block, head, chassis shop, latest tricks, etc…why racer choose a particular set-up. Ex: Slow class stocker, SS/VX or BB/AM etc… There is so much missing today that could help put interest back in the sport… One thing for sure, please, keep on drag’ing, Charles Stewart |

John, a big THANK YOU for all you have done for the racers and drag racing in general.
Loved your threads on Class Racer. When one door closes, another opens. I hope that new door is a great one for you. Good luck and definitely keep racing. God Bless You John.
