What a shocker! So sorry to hear this. I pitted near him a couple of times at Maple Grove. He was always friendly and a great guy to talk to. Condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Matt, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll never forget your dad, the saying "Actions speak louder than words" describes him well for me. I'm praying for all the Wekers.

Just heard about this. We purchased parts for my son's Camaro for Steve and Matt Welker. Awesome guy and far too young to pass. Prayers to Matt and the Welker family. Jim and Rodney Kaekel
