Technically not a three piece band, but even if they were , Felix Pappalardi would know how to do it, seeing he produced Cream

While making our rounds on a Saturday night back a long time ago, we stopped in a place call Barnaby`s, on the University of Bridgeport campus. The place was empty, I mean 10 people including staff. We asked who the band was, bartender said Mountain. We said naw, but we stayed. Our table was 5 feet from Leslie West. No Felix at that time. No keyboard either. Corky, Leslie and the bass player.

Not sure.. wiki says they were together 81 -85. Felix died in 1983, but he was long gone by then. Jack Bruce wrote " Theme From an Imaginary Western". What a great song. Felix could sure sing it.

Speaking of Bridgeport Ct., one of the all time great one hit wonders came from a band called Steam, who had a couple of members from the Park City...and New Haven.
