It's true and Jimmy lives in Godfrey IL., sold his A/SA Max Wedge car also his '66 GT/HA Belvedere and now has a '67 Dart that he bracket races at Gateway.
I convinced him many years ago to switch to the "dark side" and he's glad he did.
