That's a thought Woodro. If you take it apart, to replace the rods, you'll have to balance it as well. But if you'll hone it with torque plates (have this done by a shop capable of doing RACE work) and get a ring package (made for Stock Eliminator) from some one like Total Seal, Childs and Albert, or Ackerly and Childs, and set the deck height, you'll get a good return on your money. Woodro can probably steer you right on a ring pack. His little LT1 whips up on my 427!

Not really. I'd want to pour it and bore it before I'd invest in new pistons, and it'd also get align honed. It'd need a fully prepped crank (blueprint stroked and indexed) as well. A lot more money and work.
