Don't think they were available in a GP, but NHRA allows it. Also have some blurry pics of a '69 GP AHRA record holder. Don't know how many GP's have been raced, thru the years. But, a variety of Pontiac engines were available in 'em. Here's an article about a '76 GP that runs low 11's in NMCA Nostalgia Muscle Car class.
