I got a call from Pat wanting to know if I ran a crank trigger, supposedly called several other racers wanting to know the same.
Time will tell what will happen. thanks Dan, |

NHRA does it all the time. Stock Eliminator does not lend well with the aftermarket industry. Should be some sort of rule allowing bolt on upgrades. Crate Motor offered some of that. Like allowing under used engines such as big Caddy engines in BOP cars. Bolt on 4bbls like on the mid70/80 Mustangs and Monzas. Under used Ford 300cuin 6 with a 4bbl. Or for that matter let the 6 cylinder AMC guys have the better heads. Or flattop Pistons for the Low compression BOP cars. 74 Firebird with 10:1 compression would be a A stocker. Much like Pure Stock Drags and FAST do. Just my 2 cents |

Coal and a bag of dog ****
How to make friends and influence people, negatively ! Oh my LT-1 that I ran 15 years ago, I had a crank trigger on it like many others. Passed tech anywhere. 15 years later an NHRA tech man says the trigger is not legal. Makes sense to me !! No it doesn’t !

When I asked for help, got grief. The Rule as it is written did not make sense. Even the Rule Maker has to check up on it! You all even contradicted yourselves over the same rule. All documented in this thread. So asked the Expert and I posted the feedback and... Well, see you are another of those vindictive Pearl Clutchers !! D |
