I had heard good reviews about the VHT Header Paint, so that's what I decided to use on the header for the nova. Make sure to clean them well and use their high temp primer before the paint. I didn't really even follow the proper "baking" procedure and the white paint seems to be holding up well after a few outings.

This paint sprayed out amazing, and looks great, have not fire the engine yet to see how it holds up.

Hi,
I worked at KromerKraft Headers in Ohio during the late 1990's and early 2000's. The ceramic coating works really well and does not rust if properly coated inside & out. We had customers that would crash their headers on the track and the ceramic coating would still be there, minus what little was scraped off by the race track. Before I worked with Kromer, I painted a set of my headers with hi-temp paint from Eastwood that worked reasonably well,....but would not recommend using it in place of ceramic coating. Ron |
