It might not be good for the wheel speed cars on a prepped surface??
Too much hook and tires start chunking. Hope they have it figured out or we will all be doing "No Prep"

I have had good success with Elmer's. You just apply a thin film to the track and the tires, and allow it to become tacky before you pull up to stage. I've also read that it's very good for the environment (creates no carbon dioxide). Works on electric cars, too.

It's basically all glue that is becoming an issue, PJH & VP. VP has come out with a new formula of glue that needs more attention than most stuff. It basically bypasses the chemical that they would get from Germany. In the past for cars like ours (Stk/SS, .90) it was spray the full 1320 in the morning and drag or rotate the rest of the days to keep the glue where it needs to be, with adding gold dust and a small mist to the starting line to cover bald spots. The new VP needs to be drug, rotated and cars going down as a normal pace for it to work properly. They have been using the new VP at Cecil this past weekend and mixing it with PJH to come up with a formula that could work but, still trying to find the right mix. They were spraying and dragging on a regular basis after almost every qualifying group of .90. The chemical that is missing that that "stick" they keep the cars glued to the track and pulls your shoes off when you're walking. I have heard that Atco & Leb Valley have plenty of glue but, some other tracks have already called me about going to 1/8 mile until they can get some in.

Good morning to all,
That's what it was like racing at Westhampton L.I. back in the day!
No Prep is nothing new to us "older" racers.
Enjoy.

Respectfully,
Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA
