Box says forged and I understand the Forged piston is not available any longer. These have been on the shelf for 2-3 years.
You can pretty much tell by looking at them. The hypers are a cast piston and you can see the casting marks. If you aren't sure post a picture. The L2256's are forged and are definitely still available.
